Carmen Menzo

Born in Enna to a family dedicated to agriculture for generations. She thus grows up in full contact with the countryside and animals; However, there was no shortage of important trips from an early age, which made her fall in love and become curious about the world and different cultures.

Her scouting experience, then hers, as a girl, teaches her to live Nature and the Community even more intensely.

She graduated in Siena in environmental and development economics, here she also attended a summer school in responsible tourism and worked in critical commerce.

It was from Tuscany that she learned the love for the territory and its exceptional valorization. So, after some experiences abroad, she decides to return to her origins, to the center of that island which is so beautiful but equally difficult to live in, to start, with her partner Michele, the “Officina AgroCulturale Cafeci” project. .

She attends beekeeping courses, surrounds herself with donkeys and becomes a cycle tour guide, she begins to explore the most unknown corners of her land and share them with adventurers of all backgrounds.

Within the project, she mainly deals with communication, sponsorship and planning.

She leads the educational workshops and provides logistical support to the activities conducted by the guide during the excursions: you can always find her at the back, bringing up the rear of the group, solving any small unexpected events, waiting for the slowest ones and taking photos!
