Regalbuto – Lake Pozzillo – full day

Description

Our journey on two wheels will start from the historic center of Regalbuto and after crossing its alleys it will descend towards Lake Pozzillo.

The most adventurous part of our ride will also begin along the shores of the lake, which will take us around the entire perimeter of the lake, between dirt roads and paths immersed in one of the most particular landscapes of central Sicily.

During our ascent, to then return to the starting point, we will visit the imposing ruins of the convent of Sant’Antonio outside the walls which, in addition to telling us its long and fascinating history, from the top of its rocky spur will offer us a spectacular view where the soft slope of the straight hills meets the green Nebrodi Mountains on one side and the majesty of Etna with its dark hues on the other.

• Departure from a ceramics lab (in the case of a full day for a simple visit). For the complete ceramics experience, the half-day route will be followed and the laboratory will take place upon arrival.
